It narrated on the authority of the mother of the believers Aishah (peace and blessing of Allah upon her), that the messenger of Allah (S.A.W) said: “Whosoever introduces into this affair of ours (i.e into islam) Something that does not belong to it. It is to be rejected”

(Al-Bukhari and Muslim).
According to a version in Muslim, “Whosoever works a work which has for it no command of ours is to be rejected”

Taharab or purification littrally means purity Or cleanness. Islamically it means to remove the in Purity from the body, cloth or place with water or sand in order to be fitted for worship.

(i) Wuclhu (Wet Abolution) means to wash and wipe some specific limbs such as hands, face, legs etc. so as to remove the impurity.

(ii) Tayammum (Dry Abolution) means the rubbing of hands and face with clean sound in the absence of water or due to sickness and soon It is a substitute for the wuldhu and ghus

(iii) Ghus (Ritual bath) means to wash the Whole body with water in order to remove impurity such Janabah, Nifas e.t.c
